Just finished this for NEWBEAUTY Product Awards cover page. Looking forward to the issue.
Celebrating at the AI-AP Party with the AI34, AP31, Latin American4 and Motion Arts4 winners. Amazing night among many during this event-filled Illustration week. Honored to have been invited to judge for Society of Illustrators Annual Awards and be in such great company. Photos by Frank Rocco.
This is my first attempt at stop motion animation. The project was shot entirely with the essential iPhone. I held on to this Crystallizing Holiday Tree for years hoping to record it's growing process some day. The little penguin character are vintage Japanese dolls I take out every year during the holidays, they make me so happy!
Grateful to be a part of the redesign issue of NEWBEAUTY magazine. Created 3 spreads for a lovely story titled "Fragrance" highlighting new imaginative ways of delivering a sent.
Honored to have 2 pieces included in Archive's "200 Best Illustrators Worldwide".
It was such a pleasure working with Mindy Benham, a brilliant art director, and Priscilla Iezzi, a very talented photographer, on the "Best Of" illos sprinkled throughout this important issue.
These botanical illos of mine appeared in July issue of WIRED. Love Claudia De Almeida's fresh layouts.
Packaging projects are my favorite. This super fun hair shaping tool and accessories are now available on Amazon and toy shops across the country.
"May's photo essay "Submerged in a Dancing Day Dream", started with members of Backhausdance shot by Orange Coast photographer Priscilla Iezzi, but was ultimately transformed by illustrator Oksana Badrak into the playful story that unfolds on the print pages. HERE, we take you behind the scenes with before-and-after photos. Hover your mouse over the photo to see the transformation." Orange Coast Magazine
That's the title of WIRED article covering the premier of Bletchley Circle, Season 2. It was a fun and unexpected little illustration. Always thrilled to work with Margaret Swart, art director of the project.
Leyla's Frame & Design in Corona Del Mar performed this moody number. This is a very different look from my usual modern white frame with a floated image. I think this particular collector will find it well suited to his taste.
